UPSC EPFO recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now submit their online applications for the posts of Enforcement Officer (EO)/Accounts Officer (AO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) till August 22, 2025.This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 230 vacancies under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official portal, upsconline.nic.in, before 11:59 PM on the extended deadline date.Recruitment drive to fill 230 EPFO vacanciesAs per the official notification, UPSC will fill 230 posts across two categories. A total of 156 vacancies have been announced for EO/AO posts, while 74 vacancies are available for APFC posts. All positions are under the EPFO, which functions under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.Eligibility criteria for UPSC EPFO recruitment 2025Candidates applying for EO/AO must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. For the APFC position, a degree from a recognised university is required. Additionally, candidates with a diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration will be given preference for APFC posts.The maximum age limit for EO/AO is 30 years, while for APFC, it is 35 years.UPSC EPFO recruitment 2025: Application fee detailsThe application fee for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs 25. However, female candidates, SC, ST, and PwBD category applicants are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The fee must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.UPSC EPFO recruitment 2025: Selection process and exam patternThe selection process comprises two stages: a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an interview. The CRT will be conducted in pen and paper mode, with a duration of two hours. The test will include objective-type multiple-choice questions in English and Hindi. All questions carry equal marks and there will be negative marking — one-third of the marks allotted to a question will be deducted for every incorrect response.Only those candidates who qualify the written test will be called for the interview round.Correction window to open after application deadlineUPSC will also provide a one-time correction window for candidates to make changes or correct errors in their application forms. The correction facility will be open from August 23 to August 25, 2025.
