UP Board Class 10th Result 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially declared the Class 10th results for the 2025 academic year. With over 25 lakh students appearing for the exams, the pass percentage has reached an impressive 90.1%. The much-awaited results were announced by the board on April 25, 2025, at their headquarters in Prayagraj.
Students who appeared for the UP Board High School (Class 10) exams can now check their results online. As in previous years, the results are available on the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in, as well as other platforms like DigiLocker. The announcement was made during a press conference held by Bhagwati Singh, the Secretary of the UPMSP.

Overall performance of students
A total of 25,45,815 students registered for the Class 10 exams. Among these, 13,27,024 were boys, and 12,18,791 were girls. The overall pass percentage for the high school exams stood at 90.1%. This year, 11,44,138 girls passed the exams, marking a pass percentage of 93.87%. In comparison, 11,49,984 boys passed the exams, with a pass percentage of 86.66%.
The results reflect a consistent trend, with girls outperforming boys by a significant margin of 7.21%. This continued academic excellence by female students is a noteworthy achievement in the state’s education system.

Institutional vs private candidates
The results also shed light on the performance of institutional candidates versus private candidates. Institutional candidates registered a much higher pass percentage of 90.19%, compared to 68.9% for private candidates. This gap of 21.29% highlights the strong performance of students enrolled in regular schools over those appearing for private examinations.
A total of 22,87,431 institutional candidates passed the exam, while 6,691 private candidates also secured successful results. This data further supports the idea that regular schooling plays a significant role in a student’s academic success.

Students can access their results through multiple channels:
Official Websites: Visit upmsp.edu.in or result.upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in. Click on “High School Examination Result 2025,” enter your roll number and school code, and submit to view the provisional marksheet. Download and print for reference.
SMS: Send “UP10” to 56263 to receive subject-wise marks via SMS.
DigiLocker: Log in to digilocker.gov.in, select “Uttar Pradesh State Board,” enter your Aadhaar and roll number, and download the digital marksheet.

Evaluation and exam details
The UP Board exams were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025, at 8,140 examination centers across Uttar Pradesh. The evaluation process took place between March 19 and April 2 at 261 centers, involving 92,594 teachers. The entire process was closely monitored to ensure the accuracy and fairness of results.
2024 result details
In 2024, the Class 10th pass percentage was 89.55%, with 22.93 lakh out of 29.82 lakh students passing. Prachin Nigam topped the state with 591 marks. This year, students anticipate similar trends, with results reflecting their efforts in a competitive academic environment. The board also offers re-evaluation for dissatisfied students, with applications opening post-result at a fee of Rs 500 per subject. Compartment exams for those failing one or two subjects are scheduled for July 2025.
