The results of the NEET-PG 2025 exam were announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 19. The postgraduate medical entrance exam was held on August 3 in one shift across the country. This year, more than 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, which decides admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma seats in government and private colleges. Students can check their results on the official websites, natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. NBEMS has also released the category-wise cut-offs. The individual scorecards will be available for download from August 29. Next, candidates will have to take part in counselling for seat allotment.

What happens next?
The scorecards for NEET PG 2025 will be out on August 29, showing individual marks, ranks and category details. These scorecards will only be valid for the 2025–26 admission cycle. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon publish the schedule for All India Quota counselling, while state medical authorities will conduct counselling for state quota seats.Students should keep an eye on official notices, prepare a list of preferred colleges and specialisations, and be ready for multiple rounds of seat allotment.

- Marks obtained in the exam
- All India rank
- Category-wise rank
- Percentile score
These scorecards are valid only for the 2025–26 admission cycle and must be presented during counselling.
