The University of Delhi (DU) has officially announced the schedule for the Upgradation Round, Round-II of Children/War Widows (CW), Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA), Sports, Ward Quota, and Spot Admission Round for Undergraduate Programs under the Common Seat Allocation System (Undergraduate) [CSAS (UG)] 2025-26.he complete schedule has been published on the university’s admission portal: admission.uod.ac.in
Key dates announced
According to the notification issued on August 19, the declaration of upgraded allocations along with auto-acceptance will take place at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025. Candidates must accept their allocated seats by 4:59 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Colleges will verify and approve online applications until 11:59 PM on the same day. The last date for online fee payment is 4:59 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025.The display of vacant seats is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Monday, August 25, 2025. Candidates will be able to apply for the Spot Admission Round through their dashboards until 4:59 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Allocations for the Spot Round will be declared at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2025, and students must accept the allotted seats by 4:59 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025. Colleges will complete verification and approval of applications by 11:59 PM on the same day. The final deadline for online fee payment in the Spot Round is 4:59 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
Eligibility for Spot Admission
The university has clarified that only candidates who applied for CSAS (UG) 2025 but are not admitted to any college as of August 24, 2025, will be eligible to participate in the Spot Round. Once admitted, students will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions after 11:59 PM on August 24.
Guidelines for candidates
For the Spot Round, candidates must opt for “Spot Admission” through their dashboard and will only be able to select program–college combinations where seats are vacant under their respective categories. Admission to a seat allocated in the Spot Round will be mandatory. Failure to accept will lead to forfeiture of eligibility under CSAS (UG) 2025.The notification also states that no “Upgrade” or “Withdraw” options will be available during Spot Admission rounds.
