The scholarship is available for students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) categories. The last date to submit applications is September 25, 2025. - Click on the registration link for Post-Matric Scholarship 2024-25.
- Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and income details.
- Upload the required documents such as Aadhaar card, bank account passbook, caste certificate, and income certificate.
- Review the form carefully and submit the application.
- Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship 2025: Schemes covered
Applications will be accepted under the following schemes for the academic year 2024-25:
- Scheduled Caste Post-Entry Scholarship Scheme
- Scheduled Tribe Post-Entry Scholarship Scheme
- Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Post-Entry Scholarship Scheme
- Chief Minister Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Post-Entry Scholarship Scheme

NOTE: The department has stressed that no application should be left pending at the institute level. Any unjustified delay in verification will be the responsibility of the concerned institution.
Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the following conditions to be considered for the scholarship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India and belong to SC, ST, BC, or EBC categories.
- The student should have passed the previous qualifying examination.
- The annual family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
