The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that candidates can now edit their One Time Registration (OTR) profiles from today, August 14, until August 31, 2025. This facility is available for candidates who have already created OTR profiles and wish to update or correct their details ahead of upcoming recruitment examinations. Candidates with queries can reach out to the SSC help desk via telephone or email. The commission has clarified that requests submitted in physical form will not be accepted.
What is OTR in SSC recruitment?
One Time Registration (OTR) is a unified registration process that allows candidates to apply for multiple SSC recruitment examinations using a single account. By completing the OTR process, candidates can avoid registering separately for each exam. Creating an OTR profile involves the following steps:
- Personal details: Enter candidate name, identification, and contact information
- Password creation: Set a new login password
- Additional details: Provide nationality, address, and educational qualifications
- Declaration: Confirm all information submitted
How to make changes online
Candidates can follow these steps to update their OTR profiles online:
- Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
- Log in using your OTR credentials.
- Go to the ‘Edit OTR’ section.
- Make the necessary corrections and save your changes.
- Verify all information before final submission.

SSC CGL exam 2025 postponed
The commission has also postponed the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025, originally scheduled to begin on August 13, 2025. SSC stated that it will conduct a thorough review of the examination platform and operational readiness.
